Pratt Brothers, Inc. is a 3rd generation construction firm in Bay Shore, NY with an emphasis on customer service, quality and productivity. The Pratt's history in construction began in the 1920's when James Pratt and his brother William Pratt ran a trucking company located in a newly developing suburb of New York City known as Long Island. As Long Island continued to develop, James' son Guy saw the opportunity and started his own excavation company in 1954. Starting with one truck and excavator of his own, it is this company which transformed itself over the past six decades into one of the leading heavy construction firms on Long Island. Now under the leadership of Guy's sons, Jim and Tom Pratt, Pratt Brothers has positioned itself to continue to lead the industry.
